I will be very busy the next couple of days and therefore, blogging may be light on my end. But in the interim, I would like to pose a simple question, worthy of some thought.
If there was no USA and no Israel, who do you think the Islamofascist terrorists would be trying to destroy?

Europe, Russia, India, China ... and good citizens in their countries, of course. I have read an article "Imagine the World without Israel" in Foreign Policy.
Eachother. They would just point the finger at the other "less devoute" Muslims. That is what they have been doing for the last 1000 years until now.
No one. Islamofacism wouln't have the capability to attack anyone if it weren't for the US or Isreal.
The rationale for my conclusion is rather long so I made a completely new entry to address this question.
I only disagree with you on this basis:
Islam is a religion born of war. It teaches that it should be spread by conquest of non-believer lands, tolerating them only under Islamic rule. This is what spurned the Crusades. I also posted an extensive piece on this about a week ago. Here is a link to it if you want to read it.
The only thing that stops the Arab countries from attacking each other is their mutual hatred of Israel and knowing the need to band together to fight her if they have any hope of winning. If Israel wasn't around to keep them focused, it'd be anarchy. That said, I think both shah alexander AND g have it right--Gindy too.
I see some pretty good answers.
We know from history that Islam by its very doctrine is at emnity, with anything not Muslim. So you all of you could be right, we really don't know for sure.
But based on what we see and have seen, those of us that understand the true nature of this conflict, can say with utmost certainty that ridding the world of America and Israel will not stop terrorism.
But I will elaborate further in another post, coming soon.
If the Islamo-facist Wahhabist regime of Saudi Arabia was not being protected by the Americans then they would be so smashed over they would not have two camels to rub together.
