Here's my favorite altruistic psychologist giving his usual stellar advice to a poor troubled soul:
When someone is whining, complaining, or trying to play the martyr, I have always found this method of mental health intervention to be indicated as a valid treatment modality.

It was the kind of advice I got from my father, from time to time while growing up as a guest in his house.
He's been gone almost 12 years now, and I miss him. :(

Say no more.....it's been done.
I just sent it to them......under your name of course.
It didn't go through LA. Their phones have been jammed for weeks.
Well then AC, we'll just have to keep trying until it gets through. Won't we?
;)
I was screaming that at my TV the whole time Obama was giving his SOTU Address. He kept going though...and going...and going.

Not meaning to reduce any of your zeal or rain on your parade in any way, shape, or form; but this method usually works best when the subject whom you want to stop committing the stupid act is actually present in the room with you. Unfortunately, that would mean you would have to refrain from choking the hell out of him, also.
Sorry ME, just looking after your best interests here.
