Mon AM QB

Playoffs are set. The Colts backed in yesterday when Jacksonville lost to Houston, but they were able to improve their seeding by winning against the Titans. They didn't deserve to win, but they won when Collins refumbled the ball back to Indy, after Rhodes uncharacteristically fumbled it to them.

Once again, the Colts receivers could not make a lot of catchable passes. The only exception was Jacob Tamme. Thankfully Blair White was able to hold onto the biggest pass of the game, which put them into FG range to win at the end.

I guess I am a bit hard on these guys, after all they were all on the practice squad at the beginning of the season. So, I guess I should be thankful we have those kinds of players who can step up.

Up next: The Jets.

I would rather play them than the Ravens right now, but they will be remembering how we eliminated them last year. Luckily for us, they are inconsistent on offense. As long as it's close, we have a good chance of advancing. BUT....we must hold onto the ball and catch the passes that are thrown right on the numbers.

So, what did you all see?

Happy New Year, folks.

Dude, you are way too hard on the Colts. Think the Jests are looking forward to playing the Colts next week? The Colts and the Packers are my 2 dark horses for the playoffs. They could easily end up facing each other in the SB.

The Jests are posers. No one who has said in August that they are going to the SB has ever made it. I checked the NFL almanac, and it's true....

Obviously I think the Patriots are the team to beat. The defense has improved tremendously over the last 1.5 months. Barring catastrophic injury or brain freeze, the AFC championship goes through Foxborough. Yee haw!

Greg. The Pats are the team to beat that's why I'm worried about an upset. They need to stay really focused. Remember the last two Superbowls. Upsets.

I saw the last game with Jeff Fisher as head coach in Nashville. What a fitting end to the year.

Good luck LA. The Titans got what they deserved, but your guys made Collins look like Favre yesterday. Your pass rush+defense needs to improve to have a chance. You've always got a chance with Manning but lots of injuries to overcome along with the Pats.

Ryan certainly gave the Colts some quality bulletin board material today. that kind of stuff is okay, but only if you back it up.

Anything can happen. I am sure the Pats will be prepared for whoever they must face. I still maintain that had the Pats lost one of their reg season games, they would have had a lot of pressure taken off their backs and won that last SB against the Giants. They have lost two, no monkey this time.

Actually, I didn't think he looked all that bad until he coughed up the ball at the end. But sadly, i think you are right about Fisher.

Rumor has it that Elway may take a exec position with Denver. If that happens, we may see Jeff on the Bronco sidelines next year. Tebow is the kind of QB he likes and many times more mature than Young.

Thanks to the good luck wish....we will need it.

What'd he say?? Jeez, what an idiot! He can't help himself....

Saw that. Maybe next they'll have the tripping coach threaten someone..

Just typical blowhard Ryan stuff.

ME,

Football is to me what baseball is to you. I love it too. That said, I hope the Bears do well in the playoffs. They were many people's team here long before the Colts were....many of them still are.

AC,

Peyton gets under his skin....another loss to the Colts would probably bring that out in future contests.

Ryan isn't much different than his Dad. All talk, all defense..... no mental and emotional maturity/security.
