Notice

It's going to be a couple of difficult (and possibly long) days ahead. As a result, my blogging here and my reading at your blogs might be limited.

Besides that, the low-life, scum-sucking, and lying Congress has gone against the will of the majority of the people and passed the pathetic bill anyway. So what else is there to say?

[sigh] we know it won't lower premiums. we know it's going to cost us a fortune. we know it's going to kill jobs. but, hey, what a wonderful political victory for Obama and Pelosi....

On the plus side of the issue... Evan Bayh did the right thing and voted Nay on it! I intend to send him a big thank you on that!

Sunsett, whatever is going on with you over the next few days, I'll have you in my prayers. Hope all is well with you and your family! ;-)

There's a special place in Hell for people like Obama, Pelosi and Reid and from what I hear...they don't have health insurance there.

Take your time, LA...see ya later.

I don't understand anything about this healthcare debate. What's what etc. Does anyone have a link that explains it all very briefly.

is that free healthcare for those who can't pay?

Amerloque HELP! Could you please explain to me the differences between French health care and the new American program. I have no time to scour the internet.

Thanks for the thought, everything is okay right now. Just a hard two days at work. I worked almost 15 hours yesterday.

ME,

They will reap what they sow. They sow bad seeds, so it only stands to reason they will reap bad crops.

Rocket,

I don't know where to begin. The bottom line is that the bill is well over 2000 pages where a couple hundred would have sufficed to give insurance to those who do not have it. But we already have that, it's called Medicaid.

But beyond that, it is loaded with pork that has very little to do with the problems that plague the medical industry. It is loaded with bribes and kickbacks to Representatives and Senators, who first balked at the notion until they were bought.

Rocket: very basic synopsis here:

It's basically the Massachusetts plan, which has been a massive failure.
