Friday Flashback

Not taking a side on the issue either way, but the goal here is to highlight one of the most arrogant pieces of equine excrement's past statements. Here is a short video of FORMER Representative Alan "Disgracin" Grayson, grilling NASA Administrator Charles Bolden Jr. early last year:

I am not Bolden's biggest fan by any stretch. But after Grayson's pompous behavior had been made manifest to all involved here, he had the audacity to say this about the prospect of commercial space flights for humans:

"I think that what you are doing is taking a shot in the dark. You have no way of knowing if any commercial entity will ever be able to put a man in orbit, no matter how much money you throw at them."

Now...fast forward to this story.

PRIVATE companies have been promising for years that they can slash the cost of space travel, breaking the government monopoly on space flight and opening up the final frontier to the rest of us. At long last these efforts may be bearing fruit.

On 8 December, the California-based firm SpaceX launched its Dragon capsule into orbit and safely parachuted it into the ocean - the first time a private company has achieved the feat.

Again..... this not a debate on the the issue itself. But it does demonstrate that Alan Grayson is certainly no visionary and probably one of the biggest assholes on the planet.

Thankfully, most of the good people of Florida's 8th Congressional District woke up and voted this clown out. It only goes to show that any jerk in Congress can be voted out, no matter how much money you throw at them.

That despicable little man was 3rd on my list of people I wanted out this year. Unfortunately 1 & 2, Pelosi and Reid are still taking up space in Congress.

Reid should have been gone, but the criminal union element pulled out every last stop to ensure he stayed in office. At least Pelosi is no longer wielding that gavel.

Keep the faith and be patient. We are not going to get everything we want right now. But we have started some momentum to build on so that we slow this train down enough to get it stopped down the tracks a ways.

We should send Grayson to orbit.

Bolden doesn't exactly look like he knows what he is talking about, does he? How did they choose him for this job? Hmmmmmmmmm.

After the Shuttle is shut down, we will have no way to get to the ISS, except by asking the Russians to please take us there for a big fee. It looks like private enterprise really is the future of space exploration, since Obama cut NASA's balls off.

No, not really. But stacked up against someone like Grayson, he looks like a real gem.

Grayson is an asshole because he makes a conscious decision to be one.

Bolden is an idiot because he just can't help it.

Spit coffee on that one.

The Dems talk about the lack of decency in debate while defending this clown and Olbermann, what a joke.

Grayson must have had a lot of union aerospace workers in his district down there in FLA.
