Two Geniuses And An Idiot

There may have been more of both, but that's all who got to speak:

Short and simple, but you can see that the Frances Fox Pivens ideology is in control right now. And we can also see the results of their flawed thinking.

Thomas Sowell was one of the people largely responsible for shaping my conservative ideology when I was younger.

I am ashamed to say that I was raised by liberals. At an early age though (16 years old?) I was realizing that their math wasn't adding up. As a teen I was pro-life, tough on crime, against welfare (this was in the age of the welfare queen), pro-American, and believed in a strong national defense. None of which was popular with the libs back then (or now).

I used to read Thomas Sowell in the Detroit News when I was a kid washing dishes in a restaurant. I thought he made a lot of sense. He helped give a voice to some of what I was thinking.

In the clip, his best moment was when he told her that affirmative action, equal pay, etc are things people like her are putting in black people's mouths.

I believe this to be true.

There are blacks that want affirmative action. There are blacks that want the government dole.

There are also whites and Hispanics that want to be taken care of and given their "fair share" also.

I think the majority of blacks want to make an honest living and get a fair pay for it just like anyone else.

It is white liberals, and their black counterparts Al Sharpton, Rev JJJ, etc, that attribute these desires to blacks.

Of course she had the brilliant retort that he was putting words in the mouth's of pollsters?

Those libs, they sure are smart.

Wasn't that classic? I mean, aren't liberals supposed to so much more intellectual than conservatives? If that is the case, why do we get the juvenile responses we do, whenever someone from the right states a truth?

The liberal mindset is one almost always based on a self-proclaimed superiority of thought. The worst offenders, like Piven, apparently believe they are so gifted that their solutions are correct even when the targets of the 'help' disagree with the premise.

Yet, if only given the chance they could solve everything (and in Piven's case, if not given the chance, she's so confident as to suggest civil disturbance or even collapsing the government). It must be a real burden.

Give them credit, for they are certainly giving it their best shot.
