And there's nothing the state can do about it, at least for now.
Leroy Fick, 59, of Auburn won $2 million in the state lottery TV show "Make Me Rich!" last June. But the state's Department of Human Services determined he was still eligible for food stamps, Fick's attorney, John Wilson of Midland, said Tuesday.
Character must be at an all-time low in this country. The attitude that everyone owes a person is at an all-time high. "I am going to get what's mine, whether I earned it or not" is a value that has been proliferated by government.

I agree...some of the things I see and hear lately, the greed and sense of entitlement is beyond anything I've seen in the past.
The said thing is that there is another family out there who needs those food stamps to keep their children fed and this guy is hogging it to himself.
There's a special place in hell for guys like that. And from the looks of things...it's going to be awfully crowded down there!
I posted on this (out of pride for my state)
You put this better than I did though
