Once upon a time when the lamb lied down on Broadway, Peter Gabriel was the personality behind a very unique and talented band called Genesis. Eventually he had to go out on his own to get more creative control of his career, which was necessary if he was to ever have a chance to go mainstream.
This is one song by him that I think is nothing less than phenomenal:
After his departure another talented musician and performer, by the name of Phil Collins, took the band in another direction.
This one is as good as any:
Enjoy.

I'm going to take a while stab here and suggest Mustang won't be drooling over either of these :-)
These blasts from the past aren't as familiar to me as others, but I sure do like Phil Collins. What a HUGE crowd in that second video!
I wouldn't get in the middle of that huge crowd to hear ANYBODY...and I mean ANYBODY!
Actually there are Phil Collins songs I enjoy, this being one of my favorites.
Really, the only major difference between Sunset and myself, music wise … is that I can remember most of my life, whereas there is a period of about 30 years when Sunset didn’t even know who he was, much less where.
Well, at least that's what Eric said.
Heh.
Mustang
Mustang, I love that one, thanks for the reminder. :-)

He doesn't drool over much of anything. But with some things his ears will perk up, his tail will wag, and he'll dance around.

He says a lot about you when you are not around. But being the friend I am to you, I ignore his sophomoric chatter and do not reinforce his infantile behaviors.
I guess we see why I have had little success in redirecting any it into positives.
Yes Z and Mustang, I agree. "In The Air Tonight" is one of the best songs by Phil Collins.
I have a friend who is such a huge Genesis fan. Her nickname is Squonk. I got over my Genesis obsession a long time ago, but I do enjoy it sometimes. Abacab is a great tune.

I rarely get obsessed with any one musical act. But I do definitely have some that I will listen to more than others. I can't say that the old Genesis was one of those, but I did like Abacab and a some of Gabriel's solo work.
