Another Blast From the Past

The only thing I like progressive is my rock.

Unless you are a big fan, you will probably not remember The Call. They weren't that much of a success commercially. But they were very versatile, artistic, and their words of many of their songs were quite  powerful.

Recently, their 60 year old lead singer died of a heart attack, while working at a European music festival as a sound engineer for his son's band. This was one of those songs that inspired people to not give up on their beliefs, hopes, and dreams. When all was down and out, this tune was a motivator and source of great encouragement:

This song is probably their best known. Again, this is one great piece of poetry set to the perfect set of notes and chords, ever assembled:

RIP to Michael and to all of the readers in PYY-land, enjoy.

I can't tell if Mustang's being sarcastic or not :-)

80's music is always so much fun to hear again. :) Good choice Sunsett.

Mustang,

You are welcome sir.

Z,

It wasn't sarcasm this time. Sometimes he even surprises me. I never would have guessed that he would like INXS, but he did. He thought the lead singer was a bit creepy, but liked the music.

Leslie,

Most of the 80s music was fun. In the 90s, I think more of rock music turned darker and morose. Not all of it, but a good bit did.
