IBD Says Debate In Bali Shut Down

The UN is there to discuss global warming, but what about those that have data that contradicts UN data? Answer: It's disregarded. These global warming people have their minds made up and if you present evidence that shows otherwise, it's only going to make them dig in deeper. That's science, the UN way.

I knew it before the game started. I knew it during the first half. I knew it in the third quarter and I even knew the final score in the 4th quarter would be 28 - 27 with Dallas pulling out the win at the end even when it looked like Detroit would win.

Detroit had the fumble at the end and kicked it back to Dallas. Always lucky those Cowboys. Always have been and always will be.

That is why I hate Dallas. Always have and always will and that is why I hate to make the following Superbowl prediction as I promised Greg last week

Dallas 24 New England 21

Please prove me wrong!

Desperately Yours

Rocket,

There are two teams that have a realistic chance at defeating NE. The Colts are one and unfortunately for you, the other team is the Cowboys.

Beyond that, it's slim pickins. If Jacksonville would get the chip off of their shoulders, they could be considered another.

NE has Moss, who should be the MVP this year. As Moss goes. so does the Pats. As long as Brady has him healthy, he has a deep threat that opens everything else up.

Right now, as I type this, it's halftime and the Colts are manhandling a team that held its own against NE last week. So, you'd think it'd be a sure thing. But, without Freeney to pressure Brady, the problem for the Colts will be to contain Brady and force him out of those long timing patterns.

I am not predicting anything right now. But, the Colts are the champs until someone says they are not. And that hasn't happened yet.

VDH for President (if McCain drops out)! On virtually the same subject as his article, I wanted to say that I read "The Looming Tower: al Qaeda and the Road to 9/11" by Lawrence Wright this weekend. It is an unbelievable book, with startling details about bin Laden and Zawhiri. Much of the book is dedicated to their lives and ideology. I would say the book is a "must read" for anyone seeking to understand the enemy's mentality, its perceived grievances and its methods. There is also an extensive (and very disheartening) discussion about all the different ways the intelligence and law enforcement community tied its hands behind its collective back in the fight against al Qaeda pre-9/11. I learned a lot.

Rocket: on your prediction, ain't no way the AFC is losing to any NFC team in the SuperBowl. New England could still lose to the Colts in the AFC Championship, but that is the real SuperBowl. The Pats already faced Dallas, and it wasn't very close. My prediction: New England 64 Minnesota 10. :)

Hi Greg

My prediction: New England 64 Minnesota 10. :)

I guess that is some kind of smiley at the end of your prediction. N'est ce pas?

So what's your take on Pats - Dolphins in 10 days

NE 73 - Miami 0

Minnesota - Bah humbug! They won't get near the Superbowl

re - Dallas vs NE. I hope your guys can pull it off a second time.

I'd prefer to see Green Bay win it all.

Greg,

Or even if he doesn't drop out. I'd give him a good look. But somehow, I think he's too smart to subject himself to the dark world of politics.
