Racism In The Tea Party

By now, we all know how the Congressional Black Caucus manufactured lies about a recent Tea Party Protest. And...we have all heard from the MSM and other progressive hacks about how the Tea party is fueled by racism, because we have a black president:

Maybe they should listen to this video from a Tea Party event last year, before they run their oral cesspools:

And if that is not enough, watch this one:

Well....I cannot imagine that either of these gentlemen would have been invited, nor would they have accepted the invitation to speak at a Tea party rally, if it were riddled with racists. I cannot imagine that black conservatives are not very fond of bigots, can you?.

I would say to Keith Olbermann, Janeane Garafalo, and the rest of the lot that they are fools of the highest order. But in one respect, i must say that in doing so I will offend all of the fine upstanding fools in this world.

If anger is so wrong, why do they allow themselves to appear so utterly enraged when discussing people who simply disagree with the Democrats' policies? After all, they did win the election didn't they?

My guess is they are just plain angry by nature, as well as ignorant. And it's kind of hard to fix both of them, simultaneously.

TDD,

I still didn't see any racial slurs like the Congressional Black Caucus has dreamed up. As for the signs showing Obama as Hitler and the likes, I suppose you were asleep when they did that to Bush, right? Bet I can dig up a million of those from 8 years.

In the one video, there are a handful of signs that I would have labeled as moderately inappropriate, but none of them were slurs like what is alleged.

So once again, let's have a tape or a video that shows large numbers of tea partiers engaging in overt racism. Got one? Link to it.

Don't just comb a year's worth of pics to put together a montage of what you deem as overtly racist signs. It's not a good method of selling your argument.

TDD,

I might add:

If you could defend the wholesale hocking of the American economy to China and sinking people into deep debt long before they are born, you wouldn't be concerned about what others who do not agree with you are doing or not doing.

Breitbart has offered $100,000 to charity for any evidence of racism at the Tea Party event. No takers to date that I know of.

There is no greater example of racism than keeping minorities enslaved/dependent upon a socialist/elitist/uncaring government. Given the history of the Democratic Party, I wonder how these people can live with themselves when they spew this racist crap.

I think it is fine to be a political activist, but I think one should at least attempt honest self-appraisal. Activists … people who contaminate our democratic system by propagating organizations such as ACORN; there cannot be a more startling example of fetid politics than that.

Chuck,

Keep us posted if you hear of anyone coming up with a tape. I will do the same on this end. It's a safe bet that one would have surfaced by now, but the techno geek department of the Dom Party may very well have some extra time on their hands and doctor one up.

Mustang,

It's called the soft bigotry of low expectations. It says people of color are not good enough to make it on their own, without government intervention.

It may not involve racial slurs, but the outcome is far worse (in my opinion).

None of those guys will be interviewed on the subject, which combined with the footage is proof positive this was a calculated deflection campaign. Something Carville would think up.

The crime here is not that politicians would make up something like this to deflect or impugn, but that the mainstream media would so willingly go along with it.

The best example of what Mustang points out is Star Parker's book, The Plantation, which describes the "trap" and why it has not helped generations of black folks that have been made "slaves" by entitlements.

I have seen enough of burning Bush and Palin in effigy, flinging a facsimile of blood on people and people using a special needs baby to attack a political figure from Demonrats that none of them are going to get me worked up over a few inappropriate signs at a rally!

TDD needs to do a better job of making his point. His panic is showing!
