Race Baiting: Indy Style

Wait until you get a load of this story:

Relations between the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and some members of the African-American community are still a sore spot in the weeks since the Brandon Johnson incident.

Case in point -- an altercation in which an officer was injured during a presentation to a youth symposium last weekend that officials said was staged, leading to the suspension of a parks manager and animosity among officers, 6News' Jack Rinehart reported.

You may recall that I posted a little bit on the Brandon Johnson incident, awhile back.

Now we have a local group of wannabe civil rights leaders setting up tests for the police to pass or fail. Of course the race-baiting perpetrators are denying they set this entire thing up as a means of getting publicity.

I guess the best way to get noticed is to set up straw men, for real. And when they are set up, let them fight so a white officer will react in a such a way that they can scream racism. Once that happens, the media whores like Al Sharpton can come back to Indy and instigate more incidents like this. They can do this as many times as necessary to ensure there is no trust between police and blacks at any level.

Good job, bastards. Good job.

I'm sensing a little anger from the Tippecanoe corner of my kingdom.

why anybody take up the law enforcement profession anymore is beyond me. OR the soldiering profession, after Murtha had some navy ship named after him recently. (i think it was a ship)

These SOBs need to go tom jail after paying for the officers sick leave. Of course what will happen in reality is the police department will have to undergo sensitivity training to right this wrong.

I think they face a real possibility of backlash. I hope that happens. People are fed up with contrived incidents. In truth, real problems do manifest themselves too often; it is enough that we have to deal with those. But when people learn that the whole thing was a strawman... watch out for some very serious reactions.

I say, bring it on.

I regret to announce that I watched the replay of the last Super Bowl late last night and even though I was hoping Indianapolis could pull it out in the end...They still lost by the same score

Go figure!

Just wait, Z. There will come a moment when a call will go out for real.

Two black males engaged in a fight at 300 N. College.

The unit that gets the call will hit the donut shop for a cup of coffee and a danish before getting there. When they arrive, it'll be whoops, guess we missed it. They will then radio in "all clear".

Kind of like they are doing in Oakland and E. St Louis right now.

Hell Chuck. The bastard park director will probably not even lose his job. Jail time for race baiters? That's just plain racist.

Like I said earlier to Z, when they realize that they need the police to protect them from black on black crime, they will wonder why it is hard to get a complaint call answered in a timely fashion.

But that will be racist, too.

I say this with all sincerity:

I hope you get a rash.

BTW, it looks like Shanahan isn't taking any crap from the overpaid Haynesworth. Finally Washington has a coach that has guts.

Conspiracy to perpetrate a fraud appears to me an illegal activity. I don't understand why this so-called man of God wasn't arrested and charged, having participated in an activity resulting in injury to a police officer. And if the city of Indianapolis doesn't have the balls to charge the sons of bitches, why doesn't a citizen do it?
