Mandate

The voters have spoken. Yesterday they had a message, and that message said STOP. Be it known, the rejection of the Obama, Reid, and Pelosi agenda is now the order of the day.

And although the Dems will retain the Senate, we can state clearly today, the GOP has more influence over the Blue Dog Democrats and the TEA Party has more influence over the RINOs. 2012 is just around the corner. So it would be a wise decision for these Senators who are up for re-election in states like Missouri, North Dakota, Montana, Florida, and others, to get with the program now..... or face certain rejection in their next bid for re-election.

Time to read the bills and carefully consider the wishes of the people they are representing, before they cast their votes.

So Washington, can you hear the astroturf now?

Even MSNBC.com is saying this today:

Election Day was mostly a rebuke to Obama's party, expansion of government

Though a little soft, that's high condemnation of the Dems for MSNBC

Great concluding line you wrote, LA.

I'm not so certain of a conservative victory in 2012. If Obama moves center, that move would knock some of the props out from under the conservative movement.

CAN he move center? I'm not sure. He's been so steeped in leftism -- from the moment of his birth.

A lot depends on the economy and if it comes back or not. Trying to figure out what might happen between the houses is complicated but the bottom line is that nothing will get done unless they all agree. Order has been restored.

Amazing...considering that the TEA Party has been the work of their devil according to most of their commentators.

He is off to a great start.

I am not so sure going on a $200 billion trip to Asia is a move to the center. If he wants to convince me, he should cancel it or seriously scale it down.

If I am Boehner, I start my obstinate obstructionism by not doing anything until the Bush tax cuts are extended for three years or made permanent. Then we'll see where that leads.

I agree that some resemblance of order has been restored. But...unless the new order takes a tough stand with Obama and whatever stunts may come out of the Senate, the people will not be happy and may revolt at the ballot box again.

Boehner will put up bills to strip or repeal Obamacare and some of the Wall St stuff, and they'll go nowhere. That's all they can do at this point is to take a stand.

In the meantime, no cap/trade, no card check, etc..
