Back Home Again

Having just returned from sunny Florida last evening, I have to say it was fun. But as it always is, it's good to be back home (in spite of temps here being in the 30s).

The trip was very interesting to say the least and you can expect some details to be forthcoming, soon.

Special thanks to all that left condolences on the previous post concerning Mrs. Sunsett's uncle. They were much appreciated and thanks for keeping the place warm while I was gone.

I won't declare victory at this point, because Iraq was only a front in the overall war. And that war continues.

But I think you are right to be happy about it. I am.

I know one thing for sure, we have killed a lot of people that have tried to kill us in the process. There are more, but until they come, we'll just have to be ready. Problem is, I am not sure how ready we will be under Obama. The thing to watch will be Petraeus. If he retires at some point soon, that will tell us the story.
