If you have been following the story about the truck driver that was accused of trying to sell secrets to pre-invasion Iraq, the verdict is in.
The Indianapolis Star has the story.
I don't know exactly what to think of all of this. First of all, the guy is a nut. He acted as his own attorney, he changed his name numerous times, he maintained to the end that he was working for the CIA, and acted like a such crazy fool that he was removed from the courtroom once.
Anyway, check it out for yourself. Then file it under bizarro for the unanswered questions, this whole thing poses.

LA,
Thanks for keeping up with this story.
Was this guy "a lone wolf"? A nutjob?
But he did get convicted on all but one charge, and he was an illegal.
Looks like this guy follows the Saddam Hussein court strategy.
During the trial he refused to answer questions when addressed as Mr. Shaaban, which is his name. But when the addressed him as Mr. Defendant, he would.
Like I said, this is one bizaare case. I am not altogether sure just how much damage was done, or could have been done.
