Monday AM QB

Colts 35 - Bengals 3

What can I possibly say here, except they played the Bengals who are the epitome of horrible (the others being the Lions and the Chiefs). Indy's offense, defense, and special teams were all better than Cincinnati's. End of story.

Pats 24 - Seahawks 21

NE is back in the playoff hunt. I won't gloat that I have been right, but I have. Sure, they had some trouble. But like good teams tend to do, they managed to pull it out. Great bounce back.

Eagles 20 - Giants 14

Philly needed this one worse than NY. And with all of the distractions, the Giants have had this week with the Burris story, it's a wonder they even made it respectable. They will bounce back next week against Dallas (who are probably demoralized after their loss in Pittsburgh).

Titans 28 - Browns 9

Congrats to Tennessee and their fans for clinching the division. I couldn;t have happened to a better organization. Jeff Fisher is Class A, which is a big reason why they have had a such a great year, so far. As for the Browns, Cornell is history.

Texans 24 - Packers 21

Not only have I been right about the Pats making it respectable without Brady, I have been right about GB with Rodgers as QB. He is not anywhere near where he needs to be, so it serves the organization right. They never should have allowed Favre to leave, because this scrub is just not ready for primetime. He and Philip Rivers are the most over-rated QBs in the league. In my opinion, if Favre is the QB, they are still in the playoff hunt.

Ravens 24 - Skins 10

Washington missed a golden opportunity to keep pace in the wild card race, against a playoff caliber team. But it didn't happen. They are not out of it yet, but it's not looking as good as it once did.

Hi

Some time ago you said that the Redskins were for real. unfortunately I never believed it and every Sunday it is proving to be more and more true.

"They are not out of it yet, but it's not looking as good as it once did."

Diplomatic writing eh!

By an act of God it will happen. By an act of God!

Nice to see the Cowboys humiliated with a last minute interception touchdown run. Romo said pre game the cold in Pittsburgh was like a fall day for him. Nice to see HIM fall.

Giants looked inept. As if the cold was bothering them. Started off with lots of pressure on the Eagle QB and then that was the end of that.

Didn't catch the Skins game but I knew when I woke up this morning what to expect.

LA

"Indy's offense, defense, and special teams were all better than Cincinnati's."

You go girl! haha!

Indy-Cinci: If you thought Cincinnatti was bad, wait till next week!

Pats-Seahawks: way too close a game for a team that hopes to make the playoffs. Seattle is awful. Plus, the Pats lost a few more players to injury. There are like 3 opening day starters not injured right now. Here's a nightmare scenario: Pats tie for division champs, and don't make the playoffs. It happened after the 2002 season (tied Miami). How bad would that suck?

Eagles-Giants: That's the Eli Manning I know and hate. Eagles stopped the run pretty good, which is how you stop the Giants. Eli couldn't do squat, especially without his all-universe receiver/criminal. Also, why isn't Pierce suspended? Anyway, I'm just laughing at this team of thugs and losers that America thought was "classy."

Titans-Browns: Titans had the easiest schedule in the NFL this year. Asterisk.

Ravens-Skins: Skins have fallen apart. Is that four losses in a row? They can't score points.

//Eli couldn't do squat,//

The highlights showed a pass that Hixon dropped, was right on the numbers, and had a sure TD. Would've been enough to win the game.

When Hixon dropped that pass, I jumped and yelled, "Thank You Plaxico!" Hehe. Even if that drop was Hixon's fault, Eli sucks.

BTW, Teddy Bruschi is out for the season. In addition, they've lost Adalius Thomas, Rodney Harrison, Jason Webster, Shawn Crable, Tank Williams and Terrence Wheatley. One of the LB's starting due to injury - Pierre Woods - is hurt and may be done for the year. On offense, they've lost two Tackles, the QB and the top RB for the year. Many others, like Ellis Hobbs, are only playing b/c they have to - there is no one to replace them. Still more are out, but have a slim chance of coming back, like Ty Warren. Belichick deserves coach of the year this year.

NOTE - Carolina looked against a good TB Bucs defense, whose guys aren't slouches.

The Panthers are slipping up under the radar. They run the ball well and are a mirror image of the Bucs in so many ways. The Giants may have peaked early, Carolina may be the team to beat in the playoffs, if they keep playing like they did last night.

ANOTHER NOTE - "slipping up" should read slipping IN.

If Carolina plays like that in the playoffs, it's all ovah! I hope they meet the Giants in the first round....
