Not much needs to be said about this weekend's featured act. He's a household name and has a career that spans 47 years. He's been in the Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominos (a project with Duane Allman), and himself. His versatility is unmatched. His music is rooted in the blues, but can certainly play any style and is able to blend well with other talented artists in his genre. And he does it without missing a beat, anywhere along the line.
These are two of my favorite songs by Mr. Eric Clapton:
Joining him on this one is Phil Collins on drums:
Enjoy.

Good choices. Clapton is coming to Memphis in April with Roger Daltrey so I guess he's still on tour.
Sounds like a good show, are you going? I haven't seen him, so I'd probably go if he were to come here at some point.
I love Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn. When I wrecked the car in July, my coveted SRV collection was in the
cd player. Bummer.

You'll have to get another one.

There could be no greater example of in-depth counseling or genuine concern of one blogger for another than as demonstrated here. I love this blog.
Sheesh
Eric
I bought SRV collection when I worked a contract at Columbia House in the Company Store. I also got AC/DC "Bonfire" which was the Bon Scott work and it was destroyed too. I still have a complete Doors collection because I didn't have it in my car. I will be trying to find the SRV again when I'm working again. I'm just not sure I'll be able to find it.
