Sunday Funnies

From the "too good to pass up" department comes this story.

A group led by anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan has protested near the CIA's headquarters and former Vice President Dick Cheney's home in northern Virginia.

Alright!!!

Whose job was it to notify Cindy (and her little friends at Code Pink) that Cheney isn't the Vice President anymore? I want their name(s) on my desk first thing Monday morning.

Just got done reading an article on this. Saw that they were protesting the use of drones in Asscrackistan. Shouldn't she be in front of the White House?

Bottom line, she's a nut who lost site of her cause long ago.

Over the years here at PYY, I have cut her some slack because of the loss of her son. I have deplored how she was being used by the Left and attempted to explain that her personal response to her personal grief was understandable, in some ways. (Different people do react differently and from a parent's standpoint I had some empathy.)

But I am now at the point that I think her grief is turning into maladaptive attention-seeking behavior and is not healthy.

I felt bad for her in the beginning too because she did suffer a horror none of us could know unless we went through it.

I think you are right though in that it came to be about her. For one thing, she has become irrational. Some of her protesting has been contradictory. I think the woman could use someone to step in and insist she get help.
