Once again, I didn't get to watch anything yesterday. I had two very difficult and long call cases to contend with and missed the entire Colts game. Next weekend may be iffy as well. I guess I shouldn't complain too much. After all, they did win 27-13 over the overrated Broncos.
So from looking at the scores.... I see that Rocket's Skins lost to St. Louis. Tennessee beat the Giants, and Greg's Pats beat the Bills.
Minnesota finally won over the Lions (sorry, Chuck and Tom). I don't know what (if anything) will help them get on the winning track. The Saints lost to the inconsistent Falcons, and the team to beat early on looks like the Steelers. They are winning without the rapist Roethlisberger.
Looks like a fun NFL season. If I ever get to watch any of the games, I will be able to enjoy it like everyone else.
So, what did you see?

Yes, the Redskins are back to their old tricks. I am happy for Greg. A NYG loss and a Pat's win.
Baltimore...oops, I mean Indianapolis put on a showcase drive for the final touchdown. It was a work of art.
Glad to see Favre win so he will not quit yet. But the guy throws too many interceptions and at crucial periods.
Hey great to see N.O knocked off.
Thanks, Rocket!
I didn't get to see anything yesterday either. I did my fatherly duty and took the family apple picking. I was a bit distressed upon my return to see the Pats had given up 30 points to the pathetic Bills offense. Our young defense better grow up fast!
I did get to see the Colts put away Denver in classic fashion in the 4th quarter.
Definitely a fun NFL season this year - very unpredictable!
LA, if there is one thing you can be assured about, we are used to the Lions losing. I did not see the Lions game yesterday but through the first two I thought they were actually making progress. Who knows...
I was in the break room at work yesterday and caught one of Manning's 3 TD passes, that was the extent of my football for the day.

Not to be outdone, Baltimore managed steal...er uh.....facilitate the relocation of the Cleveland Browns.
They got here in 84. I didn't like them until the Harbaugh years, when the defense won games and Captain Comeback was doing just enough to win. For one thing, I never did root for the Baltimore Colts and couldn't get past the fact they stunk, when they moved.
BTW....he (Harbaugh) really has Stanford playing like a powerhouse.Watched them dismantle ND....not pretty for Irish fans.

Good for you. You won't regret it.
As old as you can get and well after they have grown up, there will still be football. You only have a little while to do things like this, while they are young and still want to do family stuff. At some point, she'll opt out of those things for her friends....and the Pats will still play on Sunday.
It goes fast, my friend.
It really flies by.

But for many years, the Wolverines have more than made up for the Lions' hapless years as a franchise. It's made Saturday must see TV for you guys. Bad stretch lately, but you guys look like you are back....
So is Stanford.
Both are sad.
One was senseless and uncalled for....the other, was not unexpected. We all have our time to go and it seems like 83 years was a good shake.
I never entertained killing myself, fearing that things might have gotten better right afterward.
