Another Blast From the Past

We are hitting the road this week for a few days. I have some posts scheduled to keep you interested and I will be checking in from time to time, if I get the chance. But if I don't, I will be back at it soon.

As I have said before, I am not much of a country music fan. But there are a handful of Nashville artists that I do like to hear on occasion. This is one that hits home with anyone who has been out on the middle of nowhere, on the road for what seems like forever:

Enjoy.

Z,

Yoakam is also an actor who you may have seen. He played the jerk in Slingblade and one of the home invaders in the Panic Room, with Jodie Foster. He was so good in Slingblade, I wanted to slap the hell out of him.

I didn't know that...thanks. I also didn't see Slingblade..you recommend it?
I hope you're having a nice time away and thanks for the comments at geeeeZ; I love a rousing argument when everyone's smart and forthcoming!

Absolutely. One of the better movies you will ever see, the acting is superb. Some of the best you will ever see.

Agree on Slingblade, one of my favorite movies, uh huh.

I was tempted to go with a Yoakum song awhile back (Honky Tonk Man) but this one's probably better.. have a good trip.
