Mon AM QB

Colts 34 - Jaguars 24

It's weird having the Colts playing for their lives so late in the season. As Greg said a couple of weeks ago, we are spoiled here in Indy.

I saw only the second half. But what I did see was a great effort by the offense, defense, and special teams. You have to have that balance to win games. They made some mistakes along the way but overall, they made the big plays when they needed to, with the biggest play at the end of the game on the onside kick.

Manning did not throw a pick. But there were some easy drops by the receivers. The defense stopped the run well enough to keep the Jags out of their rhythm. But they did blow some big pass coverages at times, which led to some big gains.

Still yet with all of the criticism and prognostications, it was a win. And we'll take it.

The Colts are still alive with a huge game next week at Oakland. If they win out, they are in the playoffs for the umpteenth time in a row. They may get knocked out in the first round, but they will be there with their practice team, making every effort.

So....what did you all see?

What did I see? A different Tennessee team. I guess they are still alive on the slim hopes your Colts lose. Yippee.

What else? A most incredible ending to a game where I dislike both teams. But as a fan I have to say Vick was outstanding.

Yeah AC, the low-life dirty rotten no-good cowardly dog-killer is having a good year. If it were up to me, he would still be in jail.

I'm w/ AC on the Phily/NY game. Ugh. Both are so detestable. I think I hate Vick more than Mr. Overrated and the Giants. That was hard to watch.

Colts are still alive, and no one is going to want to face that team in the playoffs.

Not sure what to take from my team's game. A lot of pieces were missing on both the OL and DL, but w/o Rodgers, that game should have been a blowout. Instead, the Packers moved the ball at will. How we won the game is kind of a mystery, but I'll take the ugly win.

Ugly wins are still wins. Of course they count more in the playoffs.

Unless some team gets on a late roll and establishes some serious momentum, I think NE will return to the Super Bowl this year. Pulling out wins when they don;t deserve it is one factor that cannot be overlooked this late in the year.

Agree on NE. Atlanta is pretty solid but the bandwagon is still small.

That's when a team is most dangerous, when the media overlooks them. They have a way of sneaking up on people.

The first year NE won a Super Bowl, it was supposed to be the Steelers. The media was all over them.
