There is an excellent article from the WSJ about Carter's recent meetings with Hamas. It even notes that Barack Obama has taken a stand opposite of the former President.
It's not that he met with them so much as it is, the total picture that Carter has painted of Israel in his later years. He has demonized that nation and beatified it's sworn enemy, with this latest folly being the"mother of all screw-ups" ever committed by an ex-president.

During your absence, I tried to think that maybe you were very very busy, having adopted the Calvinist work ethic with no time to blog. Then, I tried to rationalize that you may have been burnt out, or maybe someone just said something and you got mad. I had hoped that your health was not the reason for your absence, but alas, it now appears it was.
I know we have missed your wise and invaluable input on things that we sometimes do not know a hell of a lot about, but elect to talk about anyway.
So glad you are doing better and I pray you continue to recover. Your return is very good news and certainly has made my day. (My music post is certain to please you, as it will remind you of your days in So Cal, when it was fun to be there.)
