More Liberal Hypocrisy

The chatter in the media about Rush Limbaugh is quite comical. The Democrats that choose to make an issue of him must be feeling threatened by him. Why else would they be spending so much time on one talk show host?

This past weekend Limbaugh made a speech that has been the subject of some criticism. Here is an article that discusses some of it.

The Speaker of the House won't mention his name, but the White House has shown a willingness to invoke the name of radio host Rush Limbaugh whenever challenged.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) won't comment on anything the hero of conservatives has to say — and he has a lot to say — but the White House on Monday was only too happy to respond to Limbaugh's repeated assertion over the weekend that he hopes President Obama's presidency fails.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, who last month blasted CNBC host Rick Santelli from the podium in the briefing room, challenged reporters on Monday to ask Republicans if they agree with Limbaugh's desire.

"Do they want to see the president's economic agenda fail? You know, I bet there are a number of guests on television throughout the day and maybe into tomorrow who could let America know whether they agree with what Rush Limbaugh said this weekend."

Gibbs said he thought "it would be charitable to say he doubled down on what he said in January in wishing and hoping for economic failure in this country."

"I can only imagine what might have been said a few years ago if somebody might have said that on the other side relating to what was going on in this country or our
endeavors overseas," Gibbs said.

I am sorry, but this requires a comment.

Many DID wish for us to fail in Iraq, they DID do everything they could have to ensure that it happened, albeit passive-aggressively. Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and countless others in the Democratic leadership DID proclaim that we could not win, when boots were on ground and engaged in combat.

This negativity led to empowering and emboldening an already fierce enemy. It gave them aid and comfort. So, to all of those Democrats that want to make this Limbaugh stuff out to be some kind of treasonous statement, think again.

My memory
is not that short.

Oh, my gosh. Great point.
I believe it's unprecedented for a White House to attack, by name, its critics, and unprecedentedly unclassy, too.
And, oh, do they have short memories. Was it Reid who called BUSH a LIAR in a classroom of students? I believe so.
Durbin who compared him to Nazis, I believe? ?(Someone did)
The hypocrisy has to end.
I keep hoping they'll go just too far; Will the Obama-loving Americans even recognize 'too far' anymore and DO something about it?

Dissent ceased being patriotic on Januray 20. It's right there on page 356 of the Liberal Guide to Thought and Opinion. We need to get a copy, dude....

So many people have called Bush so many things, it's really hard to remember who called him what, and when?

Now, it's not politically correct to criticize Obama's policies. And one just might be opposing his socialist poilicies, because he/she is a racist. (Let's not forget that.)

You find out where and I'll try to get my hands on it. Can't seem to find it anywhere online. (Must have to know someone?)

You can. But what evil hath this man Limbaugh committed that he would be analogous to the boogeyman?

Damn good point. A great smokescreen if there ever was one.

But when all is said and done, the WH is making a major mistake taking this guy on. When all is said and done, Rush's audience stands to grow even more as Obama's policies fail.

Remember, had it not been for Clinton being in power, Rush may have never hit the big time.
