Picking A Fight You Cannot Win

One of the Obama White House heroes, Saul Alinsky, has educated his sycophant following well. Concerning tactics, the fifth rule is as follows:

5. "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage."

Unless you take on a powerful news organization for daring to ask tough questions that millions of hard-working Americans want to ask, but cannot ask for themselves.

You see, Fox News has the audacity to exercise one of the primary staples of democracy. That is, they want to challenge our elected officials and encourage them to explain something, which is, what their true intentions and motives really are. By doing this, they serve as a balancing agent for the many people who are not in agreement with the proposals the White House is getting behind. They are making sense in many of their critiques and the WH is just not happy.

So, they are ridiculing the #1 rated cable news network. They are attempting to demonize the messenger and throw a smoke screen for the purpose of covering their massive failures in persuading the working masses, to buy into their Marxist agenda -- which is cleverly disguised as "hope and change".

The thing that these administration types do not realize is, this will backfire and badly. Thus, it makes no sense for the WH to act in this manner. Well, in one way it does. When you are losing the confidence and support of the mainstream independents who elected you, you must act desperately, you must act irrationally in the hopes that you can divert attention away from the truth.

One of the Obama sycophants, Bill Maher, thinks 60% of us are stupid. But it's the 60% that can and will turn away the progressive system of beliefs next year at the polls. And it scares them.

But while they are terrified, the cause of their fright is not difficult to dispute. In many instances, Fox News merely uses the Administration's own words against them. Try as I might, I find nothing untrue about this video. The words of the White House Communications Director speak for themselves:

How about this?

There it is. No spin, just their words. Nothing else needs to be said, does it?

Nothing is taken out of context, I need say nothing else to make this point.

This is what the Obama machine does not want reported.

Obama came into office with a pledge of openness in everything. He's gonna talk to the murderous, holocaust denying leaders in Iran. They'll try to make nice with the "good Taliban" (HRC's words). They will engage with the lunatic leader in N. Korea, even as he violates UNSC resolutions and threatens his neighbors - and us - with annihilation. No enemy of the US is beyond this new policy of engagement. Except Fox News of course! It is so petty and childish. It is laughably beneath the POTUS. It is embarrassing.

I think he may be putting the other networks in a tough spot.

What will come of this is that they are not acting as a check on the administration. I think he may be shining a spotlight on them. This could in turn cause them to toughen up and start going after him. Add to this the Dunn remarks that they controlled the media during the campaign and they may be up the famous creek without a means of propulsion.

Good point there, Chuck

Easy there rocket. You'll have every Frenchie that still lurks here running this "biased" blog down on that Hate America blog we all have stopped frequenting.

I can hear it now. "That Rocket is a Francophobe, who loves nothing more than bashing the French." (Yawn)

;)

Dunn's excuse that she was repeating something Lee Atwater said was classic. I've never met a liberal who would say anything less than a cuss word when mentioning his name.

As to their rationale, I'm really beginning to wonder if these people aren't really evil geniuses but garden variety lefties you'd argue with on a message board. If that's the case, they've been using "Faux News" to describe Fox for years.

Same with Pelosi. The hardest working (down to what, 2days a week now?), most transparent Congress ever, one that will reach across the aisle in bipartisnship (as long as they fall into step).

I am encouraged, aren't you?

I don't share a lot of agreements with Greg on football. But on this and many other important things, I agree with him wholeheartedly.

Very, very good point, sir.

I'd like to see where she got this quote and what context he used it in. I am with you. I do not think anyone that shares her belief system would be fond of anything he said.

I've been checking it recently b/c I noticed they skipped over the "francophobe" label for me, and went straight for calling me an all-out racist! The funny thing is that most of the 6 or 7 people who comment there don't even know who the blogger is talking about! LOL.

Greg, let's face it. Anyone that disagrees with Obama, the French, and illegal immigration is racist. Never mind that if it were a white Democrat pulling the same crap Obama is, we'd still be bitching. Never mind that France just shut down a large refugee camp because they were stealing and causing generalized grief for the locals, it still makes us racist. And that isn't enough here's one more. Never mind that the French are a nationality, not a race, it still makes us racist.

The handful of imbeciles that spew that shit is one of the major reasons I left and never will go back. And as you can see, I still have plenty to write about. The very idea that the world revolves around what the French think is utterly egocentric, which is one of the major personality characteristics of immature children, in early stages of development.

Rocket,

That's a very interesting story. We'll see how this plays out, seeing how many Frenchies are quick to raise hell about Polanski being held accountable after all these years. But that is assuming the German guy is actually guilty of what he is charged with.

But as you know and I don't have to remind you, there is a double standard in the minds of those, of whom we criticize. We are usually wrong and they are not. ;)

I'm curious to know what the most vociferous country against Iranian nuclear armament is really going to do when it may come time to take serious action as they have promised they would if need be.

Judging from past experience and a recent refusal to send even one more troop to Afghanistan, one can only ask. Where's the beef? When the time comes for a decision we will see the usual French turnaround asking for more time and a refusal to engage militarily.
