Big Donors For Obama. Hamas?

Ever wonder how a novice can rake in millions of dollars without a lot of effort?

The NYT's European subsidiary the IHT has an article that shows where much of Obama's money is coming from.

In an effort to cast himself as independent of the influence of money on politics, Senator Barack Obama often highlights the campaign contributions of $200 or less that have amounted to fully half of the $340 million he has collected so far.

But records show that a third of his record-breaking haul has come from donations of $1,000 or more - a total of $112 million, more than the total of contributions in that category taken in by either Senator John McCain, his Republican rival, or Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, his opponent in the Democratic primaries.

Behind those large donations is a phalanx of more than 500 Obama "bundlers," fund-raisers who have each collected contributions totaling $50,000 or more. Many of the bundlers come from industries with critical interests in Washington. Nearly three dozen of the bundlers have raised more than $500,000, including more than a half-dozen who have passed the $1 million mark and one or two who have exceeded $2 million, according to interviews with fund-raisers.

Now, who wants to wager a guess as to where this donation was bundled?

The Edwan Brothers live in Gaza, but they list GA on their form. There is no Rafah, Georgia. But there is a Rafah Gaza. I took a look at OpenSecrets.Org and sure enough, there it is. Monir and Hosam Edwan has given money to Obama's campaign (which if true, is illegal). If this does not convince you, take a look at the FEC official transactions list, see just how much money these guys coughed up for the "Chosen One".

Others in the blogosphere have noticed this too:

Social Sense

Advance Indiana

Geeez

So where's the MSM on this one? In fact, where the hell is Drudge on this one?

Oh. My. God.

The donation was made in October. Can we assume Hussein Obama knows about this and has decided not to return the money? But he's required to return the money!

Never mind the MSM and Drudge - where's the FEC on this one???

From what I can gather in my limited time on the internet, Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs is planning on filing a complaint with the FEC. But I contend that it won't go very far unless someone with a large audience gets on this story.
