If I were Europe, I would isolate France until they stop undermining other nations' affairs. If they don't, they will likely continue this kind of behavior until they end up doing some serious damage.

I think that where the rubber hits the road, French law enforcement, anti-terrorist, and counter-terrorism experts are among the best in the world. Above that level, however, are the largest collection of nitwits in the entire world, outside of the Middle East, of course.

France is like that one friend everyone has had at some point in their lives. You know, the kind that is always around when you have something they can benefit from. But when you are a bit down and need something that they can provide, they are nowhere to be found.
Where I come from, we call them mooches.
