France Has More Guts Than The U.S.?

G at In the Middle of America has posted an excellent piece about France kicking out 12 Muslim clerics, who the French government deems preachers of hate. You can also find outstanding commentary by Gindy at gindy.blogspot.com .

To see what we are doing to the rights of a radio talk show host that is doing nothing but merely warning the U.S., about what France apparently already knows:

Check out
alwaysonwatch and socialsense.

I never thought I'd see the day when France would have more guts on a given issue, than the U.S.

LA Sunsett,
Thanks for the link.

I can't believe that the French have caught on. Meanwhile, CAIR is wielding the power of censorship here in the United States.

France has stronger and more centralized bureaucracy than civil libertarian US and Britain. But this tradition may change. When Blair tried to introduce the Prevention of Terrorism Bill this March, Tory and Liberal Democrats demanded the Sunset Clause to defend civil liberty.

Things will change. It remains to be seen what will happen in the relationship between civil liberty and security.

Good point Shah. France has a strong centralized republic. But it also has the strong centralized corruption, that usually accompanies it.

It's biggest weakness right now is its leaders. Even though they may change soon, the ones in charge now are basically, lame ducks. The tide is shifting in France, towards a more mainstream existence. Sarkozky is winning the hearts and minds of the French people, and he is most definitely a welcome sight in America.

Socialism fails, those that embrace socialism fail too.
