JFK: Liberal Or Neocon?

Click on the title for a link to a post by Pedro at The Quietist. He in turn links to a David Galernter L. A. Times Op-Ed piece.

Read it, because Pedro makes an excellent argument in this post. He quickly and succinctly points out some interesting things. It won't take a lot of time to read it, nor will it take a lot of thought to figure this one out.

btw, I linked the post you referenced in this one to a Lefty Website... and shocker, they started name calling, dismissing it, calling it "Propoganda", and referenced other crazy sites with "facts" about how wrong it was.

It showed everything that is wrong with the Left today.

Here is a transcript... read and shake your head.

"Just thought I would give you guys a link to a nice small post about the modern left, and how it compares to the left of yore. The post is called "JFK: Neocon?"

All style and no substance. What the Hell is Gore doing over there?

G, The understanding of what a Neocon is, by both you and your source is laughable. Here is a refresher from the Neocon Handbook...

Hey, I didnt write it, I just read it. And shocker, I even posted to the blog that directed me to it that when I put it into this groups hands, it would get disreguarded, ignored, made fun of, and dissmissed. Guys, sometimes the mirror can be your best friend, other times, your worst enemy, but either way, you still have to look at it.

So G, did you read up on PNAC? Let me know when you get to the part where they were hoping for a new "Pearl Harbor"?

I'm thinking Gore may be taking the following approach: Starts the channel with flashy hip style to get the attention of a younger audience. As the viewership is built up, more news and issue discussion will take center stage. Just a thought, but it may be the right approach to get the attention of the youth.

it will die like Air America... bottom line, it wont be able to sell advertising.

And yes, I know Air America is still on, but they are paying stations to air them, not the other way around.

G, you have more patience with them, than me. Most of them are youngsters easily indoctrinated by those that worshipped JFK. But the 50-60 soemthing crowd that now leads the Democratic party, does not teach them the whole story about him. They leave out the stuff that Pedro cited, in his piece.

Most cults twist truth to mean whatever they want it to mean and this bunch is no exception. And make no mistake, they are the cult leaders. The youngsters are the starry eyed (but yet full of anger and rage) followers and eat it all up, like manna from heaven.
