The Other Jihad

Click on the title for the complete USA Today Op-Ed piece.

The mosque stood empty beside the road in a Christian town in Kenya. Funded by Saudis, it wasn't meant for worshippers. It was meant to stake a claim.

This is a very informative piece by Ralph Peters about another kind jihad that does not necessarily destroy anyone or anything, to achieve its primary objective of world domination by the radical jihadists. But, it still could result in an unfavorable outcome, for all involved. It certainly is something Americans should be aware of.

Americans on the left and even many of those on the fence, do not realize just how much planning has gone into this campaign. They have been doing it for decades and prior to 9/11, we just didn't recognize how well organized and how much effort has gone into making this concept of global jihad, a true reality.

Now that those of us that (can put two and two together) have come to an understanding of how serious these people are, it stands to reason we also understand just how far we need to go, to catch up with their thinking. We have done well in many areas, but we are still dropping the ball in so many others.

Anyway, give this article some serious thought. Think about the implications of this kind of strategy, for this country.

And after you are done with that, check out what Jason at Liberty And Culture has written.

LA,
Great job here! I was going to blog this piece from USA Today, but got caught up in the Michael Graham story.

Since the early 1990's, mosques have proliferated in the United States. Many of these "new" mosques receive funds from Saudi. Building mosques is one way that Muslims lay claim to a country.

Also, see this this from
http://memri.org/bin/l
atestnews.cgi?ID=SD96705 :

"Any land, any piece of land, over which flies the banner of 'There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger,' and which at a certain point belonged to the Muslims – as far as we are concerned, plundering and occupying such land is forbidden, and it is the duty of all Muslims to do what they can to liberate this land, wherever it may be. True, many precious Muslim lands are under occupation today. They have been forgotten, and Andalusia is one example. Nevertheless, it is the duty of the Muslims to liberate them...."
