Obama Campaign And Democrats Losing Touch With Reality

It's hard for some people to discern what is real and what is not. Democrats are certainly making a case for being in this category.

According to the Guardian, Joe Biden is now promising Obama will look into criminal charges against the current administration if elected.

Democratic vice-presidential nominee Joe Biden said yesterday that he and running mate Barack Obama could pursue criminal charges against the Bush administration if they are elected in November.

Biden's comments, first reported by ABC news, attracted little notice on a day dominated by the drama surrounding his Republican counterpart, Alaska governor Sarah Palin.

A dangerous precedent will be set if this is allowed to happen, especially if it is a subjective witchhunt based solely on difference of policy. These moonbats have had two years to play the impeachment card and have not had the guts to play it.

Interestingly, as Biden makes a complete fool of himself shooting his mouth off, I ran across this little tidbit from NRO, over at Advance Indiana.

Picture this scenario...

One month from now, the Palin pick has proven a bonanza for the McCain campaign. A large chunk of Hillary's 18 million voters have been won over. Conservatives are unified and energized, and the previously-undiscovered "Maxim magazine vote" is suddenly giving McCain large margins among young males.

Joe Biden will disappear from the campaign trail, and we will later learn it was to see a doctor. A previously-undiscovered, vaguely ominous health issue will be discovered, and Biden will sadly announce that he cannot continue as Obama's running mate. With a sudden need for a new one, Obama will turn... to Hillary Clinton.

Call it the Torricelli gambit.

It's a long stretch of the imagination to be sure, but I wouldn't put anything past these low road drivers. And as one of the comments to the AI post states, Hillary may not want to be number two, twice. But, I do not think it too far fetched to consider this scenario, given the fact they are so utterly "out-of-their-minds" desperate for power.

Many of the Hillary supporters may not be willing to support McCain-Palin, based on ideology, anyway. But if the Obama campaign stoops to this level and does something like this, the independents will never trust him again. Call this the ultimate flip-flop and the biggest ruse, since Nixon resigned because of a bad case of phlebitis.

Meanwhile, the Obama/Democratic sleaze machine is going for the jugulars, carotids, and any other large blood vessel they can find. Take a look at this.

The National Enquirer wrote in its edition dated Sept. 15 that Palin had an affair with a business associate of her husband, Todd Palin. He discovered the infidelity and dissolved the business, the article said.

The reason so much of this garbage is being generated is pretty much covered in the next sentence of this short article:

It attributed the allegation only to "an enemy" of the Alaska governor.

They cannot or will not name a name. This perfect birdcage liner has made its money by reporting on aliens and other unconfirmed pieces of unadulterated lies and smears. In my lifetime, it has only been right about something twice - John Belushi's death and the John Edwards affair. Both of those stories were thoroughly investigated in a time period that extended far beyond the six days, Palin's name has been known.

Why would someone do this, you may ask? Consider that this woman fought corruption in both parties in her state, which endeared her to her constituents and made those the target of her fight very angry and hell bent on getting revenge. It would not surprise me one bit to find the source of this smear as one of those people and probably working for Obama's campaign right now.

But even if it were to turn out to be true, who really gives a damn? I know I don't. Even if it did happen, it's obvious the Palins worked out the situation on their own and privately. And I have to ask why didn't this stunning revelation come out during her campaign for governor?

It's nowhere near the magnitude of Biden's plagiarism. And I firmly believe Obama sitting in a church that teaches black separatist theology for 20 years and having an association with an admitted terrorist, is far worse, by more than a mile.

Amazing how many enemies Palin as made! I think it's a sign she's done a good job so far. Beware the person who everyone loves....

I'm no social conservative, but I admit being a little swept off my feet with this woman. She's such a breath of fresh air. I hope she doesn't ruin it by pulling a "Biden."

Hi Greg !

Yes, she seems to have made a lot of enemies.

Amerloque feels that history has demonstrated that an individual can grow into a position of leadership.

Perhaps Sarah Palin is an example of that ?

Lost touch with reality? You are much too kind ... We should rather ask, "Were they ever in touch to begin with?"

I think another of your astute readers said once that even a stopped clock is right twice a day. Whoever I heard it from recently, it certainly applies to the Inquirer.

As for Hillary replacing Biden. No chance. She wants him to lose so she can have one more crack in 2012 before her face cracks. (sorry not nice)

DEMs must be totally reaching for their meds this week.
