The Jerusalem Post is reporting that Israel was given intelligence from Turkey, on the targets they hit in Syria. In addition to this, it states Israel was given permission by the Turkish Army to use its airspace, while doing so. This seems to conflict with an earlier report that seemed to indicate Turkey was not too pleased about the use of their airspace.
Many theories can arise out of the ashes. But one thing people must understand is: When the parties do not address the situation directly, there's no real way of knowing what the truth is. Good intelligence also employs the effective use of smoke screens. It may very well be the case here. We just do not know.
At first, Turkey seemed taken back by all of this. Now this leaks out. Such is the cloak and dagger world, in the 21st century.

If this is true, it sure took a lot of guts. Supporting Israel usually results in condemnation from the rest of the world and sometimes means you become a target.

It appears to be one of those situations where diplomatic necessities will obscure the truth behind it. At least for some time to come. I haven't followed this very closely, but I even saw some Turkish press reports speculating on the possibility that the offending IAF fighters took off from Konya TAF base (not likely imo). If they hadn't dumped their tankers on Turkish soil (thus providing hard evidence of Turkish air space usage or violation), Turkey probably wouldn't have reacted as harshly.
As for intelligence tip from Turkey, that is plausible, and something that probably wasn't supposed to come out of the closet. Maybe an Israeli diplomatic reaction to Turkey's similar reaction?

You just never really know, until you know (if ever). Could be a smokescreen to protect Jordan or someone else, too.
