You can take the test for yourself here. It's not scientific, but almost every test that I have taken similar to this, shows me near the area where this model shows me to be.
Too many people think that to be independent you must reject all things from both parties. That thinking is known as black and white thinking. With no vision of the gray areas, they look at one party as all good and another as all bad, with no in between. This is termed "splitting" in the psychiatric world and is a common trait found in what is known as, borderline personality disorder.
Being a centrist is more complex than the little box they try to put one in. I wrote a piece a couple of years ago that explains a centrist in better detail. To those that don't get it, I recommend reading it.

Honestly, I don't know. I tried to be as true to myself as possible in answering the questions. I was proud to have beaten you on the libertarian score though:) And, on the left/right axis, it makes sense that I came out on your left.
I take this as fun, not very serious... Did you check who among the world leaders (past & present) you're with? You are pretty lonely in your quarter, my friend. And, I had only Gandhi, Da Lailama (spelling?) and Mandela with me in my quarter. Sufficiently away from all three (though I admire Gandhi quite a bit).

I well may end up being an isolationist before it's all said and done. The more I see the ungratefulness for what America does for others, the more I am inclined to say to hell with it and call all forces back. And with those forces, bring our money back, while it still buys something.
But we both know that's not going to happen.
