Corsi Deported From Kenya

By now most of you have heard of the detainment and subsequent deportation of Jerome Corsi, the author of Obama Nation.

Jerome Corsi, author of "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality" was briefly detained before leaving Kenya. The AP reports that he was "kicked out of" Kenya for failing to obtain a work permit.

The reason given is highly suspicious, seeing how the Kenyan government knew he was there to promote the book. But it's the other purpose of the trip that has me even more suspicious of the Kenyan government's objectives:

Corsi's Kenya trip was also intended for research into Obama's background, according to an e-mail sent by his publisher to Kenyan journalists. The Kansas City Star reports:

An e-mail sent to Kenyan journalists before Tuesday's book launch said that Corsi would "expose details of deep secret ties" between Obama and certain Kenyan government officials as well as a "subsequent plot to be executed in Kenya" if Obama is elected president.

Kenyan newspaper The Standard called Corsi "the author of a smear crusade," adding, "A statement inviting the Press to the launch today makes no secret of the intention to hurl dirt at Obama and undermine his campaign from his ancestral home."

My guess is a little different than this account.

Could Mr. Corsi have been onto something that could be used as an October surprise by the McCain campaign? Could there be a birth certificate on file there somewhere, showing Sen. Obama's birth citizenship? All it would have taken was a phone call, strategically placed to the right person and presto, Corsi is bye-bye.

Of course, not many in the liberal media will even think to entertain this thought.

Too big of a coincidence in my book. Im my opinion he was getting too close to the truth and "someone" was notified. Wouldn't it be rich to find out that he had found an original birth certificate! I'm probably barking up a dead tree, but one can only hope!

I think this will get about as far as Jack Cashill's conclusion that Ayers might have actually helped write Obama's two books. Corsi is seen in the same vein.

IOW, good luck to him.

If Corsi had uncovered birth certificates and twenty notorized statements attesting to the fact that Barack was related to a water buffalo, it still wouldn't make any difference to the liberal media, or any of his "saved."

I wonder if Corsi even considered hiring an African Sam Spade to do his leg work.

I doubt he has anything of substance, but may have made someone nervous.

I agree Mustang....it wouldn't make a lick of difference to the MSM or his groupies. We have to pray that the undecided get a clue!

1. It has come to our attention that you are disparaging our nation in the handling of that known fascist, Jerome Corsi.

2. The fact is Jerome Corsi was welcomed to our country with open arms. No sooner had he arrived at the air terminal, however, he began making horrible comments about our native son, Barack Hussein Obama. When we politely asked him to refrain from insulting our brother, he arrogantly demanded to see an official from the United States Embassy.

3. This incident was embarrassing, but also disruptive to the other passengers in the terminal. One of them fainted, and the other wet his pants. Naturally, we had to take him into custody for his own protection. And yes, it is true that as part of the arrest procedure, it was necessary to relieve him of personal effects . . . but no, we did not relieve him of the $500.00 in cash. Such accusation is a complete fabrication.

4. I hope it will not be necessary to drag your sorry white racist hide to the International World Court in Geneva, but we will do this if you do not immediately retract your white racist suggestions.

Sincerely yours,

Mo Gumby Obama
