Recommended Reading

Busy, busy. No time to write, but time to share some good reads with the PYY faithful:

From the American Spectator comes this piece on Obama's 95% smoke and mirrors illusion. Tax cuts are for those pay taxes. Anything else is just another entitlement.

Krauthammer draws some distinctions in the guilt by associations game in this column.

A commenter on Mustang's blog insists that Fannie and Freddie had nothing to do with the meltdown. But he is unable to explain why in a cogent manner. Here is something to help him better understand the entire situation. (Not that it will help him)

Finally, here is Mustang's latest, poignant as always.

Krauthammer must have written his article before the Secret Service concluded no one actually yelled "Kill Him!" at the McCain/Palin event. It was made up. Another "fake but true" story invented by the liberal media to bash the only honorable candidate in this race - John McCain.

I'm still holding out hope, people. Don't let yourselves or our like-minded friends get demoralized.

Well, I got to Mustang's site (and had quite a bit to say, I might add) but I'll have to leave the other reading until I get back from school..........

Thanks for the links!

Thank you for the link, LA.

Krauthammer is clearly one of our nation’s most intelligent writers. He is also a medical doctor, and a board certified psychiatrist—an excellent background if one is attempting to understand the behavior of politicians, most of whom are mentally unbalanced.

Few seem to recall it was Obama himself who first introduced the race card; he announced early in the campaign (seemingly a hundred years ago) that someone is sure to introduce the race card. I am not shocked by the increasingly liberal use of race in this election, only that most Americans (who generally abhor discrimination) have so willingly bought in to the erroneous supposition. This is a clear “win” for Obama, who is a fast study and a noteworthy student. We should also acknowledge the efforts of Obama’s tutors: Cone, Wright, Farrakhan, Jackson, and Sharpton.
