Although I do not always agree with him, I have the utmost respect for Michael Barone. He calls it like he sees it, always gives his honest opinion, and this time I think he is spot on. In his latest op-ed piece found in the Washington Times, he expostulates on what he sees as a future threat to free speech. In fact, you can scratch the word "future", since the threats have already been exercised.
Mr. Barone does a good job of explaining it, I highly recommend you read every word of it before you cast your votes. This isn't funny anymore.
(I touched on part of this in June of last year. Far be it from me to say I am any kind of a prophet, but don't say I didn't warn anyone.)
