Interview Draws Biden's Ire

From the "turn about is fair play" department, this is a video you must see:

When Gibson and Couric hammered Pailn, it was fair but tough journalism. Nothing biased, just fair questions for someone who wants to be a heart beat from the Presidency. That's what we all heard from the elitist media.

I have little to no doubt, the leftist thought factory will be lambasting this news anchor for doing what the MSM has done to conservative thinkers, for years. She'll probably lose her job, but she'll get another one.

Watch this, it's reaping what has been sown at its best.

Update (10:07PM): Not even an hour has passed and the threats have already been issued.

WFTV-Channel 9's Barbara West conducted a satellite interview with Sen. Joe Biden on Thursday. A friend says it's some of the best entertainment he's seen recently. What do you think?

West wondered about Sen. Barack Obama's comment, to Joe the Plumber, about spreading the wealth. She quoted Karl Marx and asked how Obama isn't being a Marxist with the "spreading the wealth" comment.

"Are you joking?" said Biden, who is Obama's running mate. "No," West said.

West later asked Biden about his comments that Obama could be tested early on as president. She wondered if the Delaware senator was saying America's days as the world's leading power were over.

"I don't know who's writing your questions," Biden shot back.

Biden so disliked West's line of questioning that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden, the candidate's wife.

Can't take the heat? Clearly, they cannot.

Wait until this bunch is in power, they'll want to punish everyone that does not march in lock-step with their philosophy.

Wait. You're telling me that "What newspapers do you read?" is just as evil and unfair a question as "So, I hear you think America's not a world power anymore, is that true?" You have some weird concept of 'fair play'.

Biden absolutely should have had an answer prepared for the Marxism question, there's no excuse there. Spreading the wealth, ACORN, these are areas he should be prepared to respond to. It doesn't take a genius to know that's going to come up.

But her "Admit it! You hate America!" question wasn't a fair question, or even a hardball question. It was nonsensical. My own response would probably have been "WTF?"

That was the most hilarious turnabout fair play interview I've seen in a while. Couple it with Fox's stalking of Ayers yesterday and it caps the weekend.

I thought a few of Biden's plugs might suddenly pop out or his face might explode from overheated botox.

But the sinister part is the Obama blackball response--a harbinger of life to come. And he's not even president yet.

Okay, let's say I give you THAT one.

Does that mean one unfair question makes the entire interview unfair?

I think you miss the point here. This kind of badgering takes place on CNN, NBC, CBS, and sometimes ABC, and is almost always against those that lean to the right. Now, it's been turned on those that benefit from the other side of the coin.

He was a bit irritated, wasn't he? I actually laughed. She was so patient to let him ramble on and on, trying to tap dance his way out of each question, only to be hammered by another. One of those priceless moments I can tell my grandson about someday, when he's old enough to understand.

The only “shocking” aspect of this interview, as LA noted, was that the press finally asked direct questions of the Obama campaign — such as might be asked of any presidential candidate back when the United States had an unbiased press corps. Since I only watched the featured video, I’m not sure where Anon’s “admit it” comment came from. Possibly a Freudian slip . . . but it is a question many people have asked of a campaign who promises to deliver European socialism to a nation that has, until now, prided itself on unique American government principles.

"This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election," wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.

So what's the difference in cutting of debate with megalomaniac leaders and the Obama campaign cutting off debate with journalists whose questions they don't like?

Doesn't the Obama machine want to speak with everyone once they assume the Presidency?

Why are they running away?

I watched it again to see where she could have implied this, figuring I was laughing through it the first time. I heard nothing of the sort.

Anonymouse failed his assignment.

Not a damn thing.
